Subscription & Refund Policy
Last updated: September 29, 2026
The short version. Pro and Unlimited are monthly subscriptions. They renew automatically and charge your card each month until you cancel. You can cancel online at any time, and you keep your plan until the end of the month you have paid for. We do not give partial-month refunds. Question credits are a one-time purchase and never expire.
This policy is part of our Terms of Service. All prices are in U.S. dollars. Payments are processed by Stripe.
1. Plans
| Plan | Price | Includes |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 3 Trade Assistant questions per 24-hour window |
| Pro | $15 / month | 10 questions per 24-hour window, and connected accounts |
| Unlimited | $50 / month | Questions with no daily limit, connected accounts, and API access with the monthly and per-minute allowances shown in your account |
| Question credits | $0.50 each, bought in packs of 10 to 200 | One question per credit, used after your plan's allowance for the window runs out |
How the 24-hour window works. A window starts with your first question and resets 24 hours later. It does not reset at midnight.
Fair use. "Unlimited" means no daily question cap for one person's own use. It does not cover account sharing, reselling, or automated or scripted use outside the API. If we find that kind of use, we may limit or suspend it under our Terms.
Your price. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay, and it includes any promotion code you applied. Taxes may be added where they apply.
2. Automatic renewal
Pro and Unlimited subscriptions renew automatically every month, on the same date you first subscribed, at the plan price then in effect, until you cancel. When you subscribe, you authorize us, through Stripe, to charge your payment method each month without further action from you.
A promotion code may discount one or more billing periods. Once the promotion ends, the subscription renews at the regular price unless you cancel first.
3. How to cancel
You can cancel at any time, online, without contacting us:
- Sign in and open the Trade Assistant or your Watchlist.
- Choose Manage subscription. This opens Stripe's secure billing portal.
- Choose Cancel plan and confirm.
You can also email [email protected] from your account's email address, and we will cancel for you.
What happens next. Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep your plan until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and then your account moves to the Free plan. Your account, chat history, watchlist and unused credits are not deleted. When your plan ends, any accounts you connected are disconnected and their stored credentials deleted, because connections require a paid plan. If you subscribe again, you can reconnect them.
4. Refunds
- Subscriptions. Payments are non-refundable, and we do not give refunds or credits for a partly used billing period. That includes a period in which you cancelled, used the Services less, or did not use them at all. Cancelling stops the next charge.
- Question credits. Credits are non-refundable once purchased, and have no cash value. They cannot be transferred or exchanged. They do not expire, and they stay on your account if your subscription ends.
- Questions that fail. If a question fails to produce an answer, the question or credit it used is normally returned to you automatically. If one was not, email us and we will restore it.
- Billing errors. If you were charged twice, charged after cancelling, or charged the wrong amount, email [email protected] within 60 days of the charge. We will fix it and refund any amount charged in error.
- Our discretion, and your legal rights. We may issue other refunds or credits case by case, and doing so once does not oblige us to do it again. Nothing in this policy limits a refund right you have under applicable law.
5. Upgrades and downgrades
You can change plans in the billing portal. Stripe shows you any prorated charge or credit before you confirm. An upgrade takes effect right away. A downgrade takes effect as the billing portal describes it when you make the change.
6. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, Stripe may retry it over the following days, and we may email you. If the payment still cannot be collected, your subscription may be cancelled or paused, and your account moves to the Free plan until you pay or resubscribe. Please keep your payment details current in the billing portal.
7. Price and plan changes
We may change prices or what a plan includes. For an existing subscription, we will email you at least 30 days before a price increase takes effect. The new price applies from your first renewal after that notice, and you can cancel before then to avoid it. If we permanently discontinue a paid plan, we will either move you to a comparable plan or cancel your subscription and refund the unused portion of your current period.
8. Chargebacks
If you think a charge is wrong, please contact us first. We can usually resolve it faster than a card dispute. If you file a chargeback on a valid charge, we may suspend your paid access while the dispute is open.
